Victor Wembanyama is the new:  “French Picasso Hoops Artist” 

Wemby unveils two new basketball courts in hometown Le Chesnay, France

Wemby has designed and helped manage the construction of two beautiful basketball courts in his home town.  The courts feature a mosaic Picasso artistic style architecture.

The video explains how the game of basketball was part of his DNA, as his parents were athletes and coaches. Building hometown basketball courts was a continuation of his  generosity to his roots. 

A fan in Oklahoma recently posted: “During two trips to Oklahoma City to watch the Spurs play the Thunder, I witnessed Wemby stop and sign for a few lucky young fans.  Then, he stopped to sign for the same young girl in a subsequent game.  He appears very relaxed around people”.  This is a reflection of his  attitude about his fans. 

His ‘French Lifestyle‘ upbringing has created a sense of humility and calmness in his demeanor.  This bodes well as to his  future sports collectible value.

By the way, Picasso wasn’t French, he was born in Spain but spent most of his life creating his masterpiece art works in France.  Wemby is French, but he is creating his athletic performance masterpieces in the United States.
