No More ‘Shushing’ Malachi Toney

Sorry if you are upset, but the secret is out.

The University of Miami Hurricanes are one of the best two college football teams in the country.  The Miami team is filled with talented football players and now they will play for the NCAA National Championship next Monday, January 19th, 2026, at night, on their home field, at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.

There will not be any more ‘shushing‘ about how good the Canes are at playing football, not this year.  The University of Miami Hurricanes, with a spectacular performance of Malachi Toney and many other Hurricane teammates, defeated a talented and honorable foe, the University of Mississippi, Thursday night and punched their ticket to the big game. The ‘Canes will face the winner of the Indiana vs, Oregon game to be played tonight.  

Miami as the host city of the College Football Playoffs was determined long ago.  As a historically proud ‘football town’, the city is now set to go absolutely berserk with their beloved Canes in the championship game.

The secret of how good the Canes were was not completely revealed during a somewhat topsy-turvy regular season performance.  However, the team has improved during the season and risen to the occasion.  

The performance of Hurricane offensive star, Malachi Toney, has been a center piece of the team all year, but it now has the entire country aware of just how talented this young man is at playing the game of football. 

Malachi Toney”s sports memorabilia  collectibility has now increased, tremendously.  And, from what we see on the field, the ceiling is the limit. 

Toney is an electric performer that can excite an entire stadium and turn the game’s outcome with a single play.  He did this, again,  last night with his late game long touchdown pass reception.  His all purpose offensive player position includes many ways and manners to ‘get him the football’. 

His explosive ability has been no secret to Floridians.  It has never been a secret to Floridians how good Malachi is because he was an All-state standout football player in Liberty Florida as a high school football star.
